This Amanda's best friend Camille. She is right now catching the ball. Do you see the Ump? He's watching super carefully because there is a runner coming in.

That's the runner. You can tell she knows she is screwed because she has slowed down. I've learned that I can tell the difference now in pictures when the girls slow down from RUN LIKE HELL to CRAP I'M OUT.

But Camille knows that in order for it to be a successful out, she has to tag her and NOT DROP THE BALL!!! Which she does very well.

This is Camille's dad. You can tell he is all kinds of proud of Camille. Just as I would have been if Camille was my girly. One of the local photographers around here has a blog and he posts some stuff on better picture taking skillz (of which I have none) and I think I read on there (of course I can't find the post now) that photographers (which I am not even remotely skilled enough to be deemed) forget to take pictures of the crowd and their reactions. So I have been trying to do that more.

And this is totally why I invested a shitload of money into getting a new camera.
If only I could afford ridiculously awesome lenses.
