You know, I've looked up the word "puberty" in the dictionary and no where in the definition does it mention that your twelve year old daughter becomes irrationally over-emotional. Nor does it mention that she will also challenge every single thing you say. And if you explain to her why what you say goes, she will reword it so she can challenge the same thing from a different angle. And then if you still pull the "I'm your mother and I said enough all ready unless you want to go to your room until you are forty five years old" card, she will then ask you how it would make you feel if someone was talking to you the way you were just talking to her. And this sucks because for one thing, you taught her that and secondly because you start to wonder if she's right.
Puberty sucks.
