Errr... recycled bad-ass website of the day?
Ehch, you know what?
I am so over worrying about whether the cool stuff I've found fits into a box.
I'm done with boxes.
And you should be too because they are sooo not good for the environment.
I'm just saying.
You know what happens when you fit things in a box?
You become a square and even if the song says that it's hip to be square, I'm no square.
According to Cosmo, I'm more pear shaped anyway...
But that has nothing to do with this does it?
Freecycle.org is a rocking rad website.
Have you been there before?
It's similar to craigslist EXCEPT that it is the ultimate recycling website as in, you give stuff away or you go and get stuff for free. Maybe that's where the title came from huh?
It's either trashed or freecycled.
Their tag line could be "one man's trash is another man's treasure" except that they are too cool for that.
So instead their motto is "changing the world one gift at a time"...
Niiice right?
From their homepage: Welcome! The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 4,760 groups with 6,790,000 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer (them's good people). Membership is free. To sign up, find your community by entering it into the search box above or by clicking on “Browse Groups” above the search box. Have fun!
Have fun indeed.
I've already joined three local groups and it's VERY user friendly.
You can even do it at work!
Ehhh, not that I am doing anything at work that isn't work related or anything.
Yo, yo, yo peeps, email me bad ass recycled stuff yo. Link's on the right.
